Definitions as We Use Them

It is quite common now for the definition of words to be debated – rights, freedoms, capitalism, and free market. To clarify our position, we define these words, as we use them, as follows:

  • Right: that to which a person has free access. Such access must be granted by an authority, such as a god, law, or government; it is not inherently existent, nor does it imply an entitlement nor necessity thereof.
